Welcome to DojoMaster. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our martial arts club management platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using DojoMaster, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using DojoMaster, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service.
If you are using DojoMaster on behalf of an organization (such as a martial arts club or dojo), you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Description
DojoMaster is a cloud-based software platform designed to help martial arts clubs, dojos, and instructors manage their operations, including:
- Student and member management
- Class scheduling and attendance tracking
- Membership and subscription management
- Payment processing and billing
- Progress tracking and belt/rank management
- Communication tools (email, SMS notifications)
- AI-powered insights and analytics (on applicable plans)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To use DojoMaster, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account as a club owner or instructor. Students under 18 may use the Service with parental or guardian consent and supervision.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
4. Subscription and Payment Terms
Subscription Plans
DojoMaster offers various subscription plans (Free, Starter, Professional, Enterprise) with different features and pricing. Current pricing and plan details are available on our website.
Billing and Payments
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
- Payment is processed through our secure payment provider, Stripe
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for certain plans. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
DojoMaster and all related content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by DojoMaster Pty Ltd and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (such as student data, photos, or documents). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or software without our express written permission.
6. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use DojoMaster only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or harass others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
7. Data Protection and Privacy
Your use of DojoMaster is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. For details on our security practices, please see our Security Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DojoMaster is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DojoMaster Pty Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any content you upload or submit through the Service
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- Your data will be retained according to our data retention policy (see Privacy Policy)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your payment method fails or your account is past due
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Service features. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service
- Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Security Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DojoMaster regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
